Sea Isle City Unveils New Emergency Vessel Funded By County
Sea Isle City - County and local officials unveiled the new S.V.I. 26’ Fire/Rescue Boat
at the Sea Isle City Marina on Tuesday, June 30, 2009. The boat, that cost $146,362.00, was purchased with funds from the County’s 2008 Municipal Joint Venture Program. The vessel will be used by Sea Isle City's Police Department and Volunteer Fire Department for use in emergency situations where access is limited on land and response time is quicker by water. Additionally, the new boat will provide emergency personnel with enhanced access to both waterfront and beachfront properties.
